Accordingly, the Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee requested members of the City People's Committee, leaders of departments, branches and localities to thoroughly grasp and establish political determination, strongly innovate in the awareness and actions of cadres, civil servants and public employees regarding administrative discipline.

At the same time, innovate the approach and handling of work, practice standard working style in performing public duties; resolve and handle work thoroughly, on schedule, meeting general requirements; resolutely handle intentional delays and shirking of responsibility.

Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee Phan Van Mai directed each agency and unit to review the overall internal work handling process and adjust it towards efficiency. The Department of Home Affairs is assigned to preside over monitoring, coordinating with agencies, researching and proposing amendments and supplements to the Coordination Regulations between departments, branches, sectors and district-level People's Committees in the direction of clarifying responsibilities, ensuring general progress requirements and work quality. Report to the Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee for consideration before December 30.

The Office of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee presides over reviewing and proposing solutions to improve and enhance the information and reporting regime of the entire City Government System in the direction of strong reform on a digital platform, standardizing reports, and a shared platform in processing administrative documents.
