Speaking at the Conference, National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man said that, based on Directive No. 45 dated April 14, 2025 of the Politburo on Party Congresses at all levels, towards the 14th National Party Congress; Notice 888 dated July 31 of the Central Organizing Committee on the number, standards and orientation of the structure of delegates attending the 14th National Congress of the Party.

The National Assembly Chairman said that, according to the direction of the Politburo, all Party Committees at the commune level must complete their Congresses before August 31, 2025, and provincial-level Congresses must be completed before October 30. In fact, most Party Committees of the Central Party Committee, provinces and cities have registered to complete documents in August and early September, including the National Assembly Party Committee.

Accordingly, the Politburo will work with the National Assembly Party Committee next September.

Emphasizing that there are only more than 5 months left from now until the 14th National Party Congress, the National Assembly Chairman stated that the upcoming work of the National Assembly must focus on preparing for the 10th Session, the final session of the 15th National Assembly, and preparing for the election of the 16th National Assembly and People's Councils at all levels for the 2026-2031 term.

Other important tasks are that the National Assembly, together with the Party and State, prepare for the 80th Anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day on September 2, while preparing activities towards the anniversary of the General Election Day to elect the Vietnamese National Assembly on January 6, 2026.

Emphasizing the need to focus on the preparation for the Party Congress of the National Assembly Party Committee in the coming time; the National Assembly Chairman requested the National Assembly Party Committee to urgently complete the set of documents to ensure that when approved by the Politburo, the set of documents must be complete.
