In an effort to spread the image of the country, people, culture, goods and especially Vietnamese agricultural products to a large number of consumers in Paris (France), the Vietnam Trade Office in France and the Vietnam Cultural Center in France for the first time co-hosted and, together with partners, Vietnamese associations and businesses in France, organized the "Bonjour - Hello Vietnam" festival.

France is a traditional market with a large Vietnamese community that has studied, lived and worked for many years. In addition, the association culture is also very developed here but has not yet achieved high unity. Therefore, the initiative was proposed by the Vietnam Trade Office in France together with functional units of the Ministry of Industry and Trade and the Cultural Center, Ministry of Culture to connect Vietnamese associations in France, contributing to the process of building a united, strong Vietnamese community in France and spreading the image of the country, people and Vietnamese agricultural products to the local community.

The "Bonjour - Hello Vietnam" festival was held in France to promote agricultural products and food closer to French consumers.

To access a new market, the Vietnamese community in the host country is always the first door, the bridge for Vietnamese goods. In France, thanks to the Vietnamese community here, Vietnamese goods have gradually become familiar to French consumers.

However, Mr. Vu Anh Son - Head of the Vietnam Trade Office in France said that up to now, the demand for Vietnamese goods in France has gradually stabilized, so new incentives are needed for market demand to create new market demand for Vietnamese agricultural products. This is also one of the main reasons for the establishment of a cooperation initiative between the two representative agencies of the Ministry of Industry and Trade and the Ministry of Culture in France.

"We wish to build a common playground to connect and promote the Vietnamese community to do business in France, thereby building a solid bridge and a sustainable access channel for Vietnamese goods to enter France" - Head of the Vietnamese Trade Office in France commented. Also on this occasion, in addition to special cultural dissemination activities, the theme of this year's event is to introduce to the French community "the taste of Vietnamese lychee" and other agricultural products of Vietnam. Promote Vietnamese culture and tourism, introduce typical products and Vietnamese goods to international friends in France.

Through the "Bonjour - Hello Vietnam" festival, the Vietnam Trade Office in France also hopes to have more opportunities for business connection and investment cooperation.

In addition, in addition to introducing Vietnamese cuisine and agricultural products to visitors in Paris through this event, the Vietnam Trade Office in France also invited partners who are importers and distributors of Vietnamese agricultural products in the French market to strengthen the network and introduce a different perspective on Vietnam to buyers.

Lychee exports to France in 2024 reached a new milestone in value, with the "explosion" of Vietnamese suppliers. 2024 marked the first time that the Vietnam Trade Office cooperated with the Vietnam Airlines branch in France in a joint effort to export Vietnamese agricultural products to this market. With special support from the national airline in transportation, Vietnamese key enterprises imported and distributed nearly 20 tons of lychees to the market, accounting for more than 2/3 of the demand of the Paris capital market.

In addition to cultural and artistic activities, the "Bonjour - Hello Vietnam" festival also has food stalls and introduces Vietnamese fruit products with Vietnamese strengths such as: U Hong litchi, lychee, yellow jackfruit, green-skinned grapefruit, mangosteen, dragon fruit, B304 avocado... along with typical Vietnamese culinary products.
