As reported by Quang Tri Province's Newspaper and Radio and Television, through research on the combat history of the units, the process of collecting martyrs' remains in previous years as well as information from veterans and people, from June 16, 2025, the Martyrs' Remains Collection Team of Division 968 has searched for and collected martyrs' remains in the cajuput forest area in Ban Chua.

Up to this point, 10 remains have been excavated along with many relics such as rubber sandals, belts, buttons, mirrors... The remains were found at a depth of about 1.2 m, all wrapped in military tanks, located about 2 - 4 m apart.
The remains of the martyrs are currently being brought to the Ban Chua Village Community Learning Center for worship. The search area is still being expanded.
