According to Sohu , Zhan Teng was knocked down by Sun Lei in just 2 seconds. Right after the referee called the start, Sun Lei launched a series of punches that knocked Zhan Teng down. Zhan Teng was unable to stand up afterwards and was carried off the field on a stretcher by medical staff. Zhan Teng even burst into tears and groaned after receiving a series of punches from Sun Lei.

After the match, Trien Dang posted a video explaining that the reason for his defeat was because he did not understand the referee's instructions, resulting in a lack of vigilance and being hit by Ton Loi.
