Authorities are required to launch a high-profile campaign to crack down on all types of crimes and ensure security and order during the upcoming 2024 Lunar New Year.

On the afternoon of November 30, Ho Chi Minh City Police held a conference to review the work of November. During the month, Ho Chi Minh City Police investigated and solved 156/308 very serious and extremely serious cases, arresting 359 subjects; investigated and solved 547/855 cases (nearly 64%), arresting 725 subjects for crimes against social order.

The police also discovered 154 cases with 147 individuals and 17 organizations with signs of violations of corruption, economics, and smuggling; dismantled 202 cases and 465 subjects violating drug laws; seized nearly 63kg of various drugs; more than 152kg of suspected drugs (awaiting appraisal results), along with many other related tools and means.
