Speaking at the workshop, the Director of the Cao Bang Department of Education and Training introduced the province's outstanding achievements in developing STEM - Robotics education in recent times, such as: organizing STEM Robotics competitions for teachers and students; hosting the 2025 National VEX Robotics Competition in the Viet Bac region, thereby putting Cao Bang province on the world map of STEM Robotics; winning many awards at international competitions held in several countries such as Korea, China, and the United States. At the same time, the Department's leaders proposed to strengthen cooperation with the southern Lao provinces through exchanging experiences, organizing training, exchanging Robotics competitions and developing long-term cooperation plans, aiming to improve the quality of STEM education.
The workshop is an opportunity for Vietnam and Laos to share experiences, expand cooperation, contribute to tightening the special friendship between the two countries and promote sustainable education development in the period of international integration. In the program of the workshop, teachers and students of Cao Bang province had activities to exchange, share experiences, provide training for students and teachers of some primary, secondary and high schools in Pakse city, Champasak province and participate in the demonstration of VEX IQ and VEX V5 robots for delegates attending the workshop.
Attending the Workshop “Promoting STEM Education – Robotics” in Champasak Province, Lao PDR not only affirms the determination of the Cao Bang Education and Training sector in innovating, integrating and improving the quality of STEM – Robotics education, but also opens up practical cooperation opportunities with the Southern Lao provinces. This is an important step, contributing to building a solid foundation for the young generations of the two countries to develop together, while continuing to foster and strengthen the special friendship and loyal attachment between Vietnam and Laos.
