The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism has just issued Decision 1171/QD-BVHTTDL on organizing the National Library Staff Festival to promote the development of reading culture and introduce books - celebrating major holidays and important historical events of the country in 2025 with the theme "National Epic".

The festival is chaired by the Department of Grassroots Culture, Family and Library, in coordination with relevant agencies and units. This is one of the important activities of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism to celebrate the major holidays and important historical events of the country this year.

Through the activities of the Festival, we aim to introduce and disseminate documents, books and newspapers about important historical events of the country; at the same time, we contribute to propagating and educating all classes of people, especially the young generation, about the tradition of patriotism and revolutionary struggle, arousing love for the homeland and country, national pride, the desire to contribute, and build a strong, prosperous and developed country.

Each group's competition program lasts from 30 to 35 minutes (of which the book introduction must be at least 15 minutes), including 4 parts: introducing the team; introducing the book; introducing an initiative/experience or a new, effective model in developing a reading culture and serving lifelong learning in the locality, agency, or unit; talent.

In addition, within the framework of the Festival, there are also activities: displaying and exhibiting books and newspapers; displaying images of activities to develop reading culture and serve lifelong learning of libraries across the country; arranging art books according to the Festival's theme.

The Festival is expected to take place from May 26 to 30 at the Dak Lak Provincial Cultural and Tourism Center.
