Officials and people of Dien Bien province enthusiastically participate in the program "1 billion steps towards a new era"

The program was held simultaneously in 34 provinces and cities nationwide, with more than 1 million people wearing red shirts with yellow stars, heading to the historic Ba Dinh Square to watch the National Flag Raising Ceremony and sing the National Anthem, then walking together for a united, strong and sustainable Vietnam.

At the Dien Bien provincial bridgehead, comrade Le Thanh Do, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, along with 20,000 officers and soldiers of Dien Bien provincial police and officers and people of wards and communes witnessed the sacred moment of the National Flag Raising Ceremony at the historic Ba Dinh Square.

Comrade Le Thanh Do, Chairman of the People's Committee of Dien Bien province, shared: I personally witnessed the National Flag Raising Ceremony at Ba Dinh Square, but today, at this moment, on the historic land of Dien Bien Phu, this is the first time I and the people of Dien Bien have witnessed and immersed themselves in such a sacred and emotional space.

Under the national flag, I and the people of Dien Bien have vowed to make efforts to contribute to building Dien Bien to become more and more developed, worthy of being a stronghold and a solid border of the country.

Immediately after the launching ceremony in the center of Hanoi , more than 20 thousand people from wards and communes in Dien Bien province walked together with the common belief in a renewed and united Vietnam, ready to enter a new era of development with new stature and spirit.
