Cam Ranh: Meeting with forces directly fighting on the battlefield in Khanh Hoa

To celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of Khanh Hoa Province (April 2, 1975 - April 2, 2025) and towards the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2025), on the morning of April 2, the People's Committee of Cam Ranh City organized a meeting with the forces that directly fought against the invading American imperialists on the battlefield of Khanh Hoa province and are currently living in Cam Ranh City. Attending the meeting were leaders of the City Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the city, members of the Resistance War for National Salvation Association and the City Veterans Association.

Leaders of Cam Ranh City People's Committee presented gifts to forces directly fighting on the battlefield in Khanh Hoa province.

At the meeting, delegates reviewed the heroic history through reports on the struggle for liberation and development of Khanh Hoa province in general and Cam Ranh city in particular; and the outstanding results in the construction and socio-economic development of the locality in recent years.

The city leaders expressed their deep gratitude to the Vietnamese Heroic Mothers, families of martyrs, wounded and sick soldiers, families with meritorious services to the revolution, veterans, cadres, soldiers, and compatriots who sacrificed and contributed to the cause of national liberation. On this occasion, the city presented gifts to the forces directly fighting on the battlefield in Khanh Hoa province, worth 1 million VND/gift.
