The AVP website reported on November 24 that assault units of the Russian Armed Forces have taken up new positions in Avdeevka, located south of Kolosova Street, in the area between Vinogradniki SNT and the exit from the city.

The Russian advance was also noted in other areas of Avdeevka, including Yasinovatsky Lane. Active offensive operations by the Russian Armed Forces are also taking place in the northwestern direction, in the area of ​​the Avdeevsky Coke Plant. This is an important area for the Ukrainian Armed Forces in the city.

Ukrainian servicemen confirmed the intensity of the Russian offensive and noted the increasing difficulties in defending. The constant pressure from the Russian Armed Forces poses serious challenges to the Ukrainian forces, threatening their control over one of the most important fortified areas in the Donetsk direction.

Also on November 24, AVP reported that a Ukrainian drone was intercepted by the Russian military in the sky over the self-proclaimed Donetsk People's Republic. The drone was disguised as an eagle.

Drones are often used by the Armed Forces of Ukraine for reconnaissance or to carry out attacks on targets on the territory of the Russian Federation.

Russia used a special signal to intercept the unusual drone. After landing, special forces of the Russian Guard and military counterintelligence officers of the Federal Security Service (Russian Federation) conducted a detailed study of the device.
