Ca Mau prioritizes digital transformation to create new breakthroughs

According to the signed content, Viettel Group commits to work with the People's Committee of Ca Mau province to develop digital infrastructure, digital government, digital economy , digital society, information security and core technology, and specialized fields.

The signing of the cooperation agreement aims to address seven key groups of tasks, including raising awareness, political determination, coordinating the implementation of propaganda programs to raise awareness for officials, civil servants, people and businesses about the role of science, technology, innovation and digital transformation...

According to Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Ca Mau Province Nguyen Minh Luan, the final result is measured through the contribution to the province's growth. Therefore, the requirement is to have specific measurable products, to do it quickly and ensure quality.

To achieve the above final goal, based on the implementation in some other localities, comrade Nguyen Minh Luan proposed that Viettel Group pay attention to 10 major issues of Ca Mau province.

First is the institution and mechanism to create a legal corridor. Next is the technical and technological infrastructure: The system serving the leadership and management of party agencies, the Fatherland Front and government organizations; The online public service portal system of the province and 64 communes and wards of the province to meet the requirements of handling administrative procedures regardless of administrative boundaries and increase the rate of providing online public services throughout the process, thereby forming a proactive public administration...

The third issue is the shared (important) database in the spirit of covering the whole province, basically renting and not buying. In this content, Ca Mau prioritizes a coordinated database, a fundamental ecosystem; an integrated, analytical, and recommendation IOC Center; fields related to civil status, land; specialized databases for health, education, tourism, agriculture, environment, transportation, editing, digitizing archival documents, etc., along with a number of issues related to information security and confidentiality.

From the perspective of a major partner in Ca Mau, Colonel Dao Xuan Vu, Deputy General Director of Viettel Group, said that Viettel has been implementing many outstanding and typical digital transformation projects in the locality, such as: The reporting system of the Provincial People's Committee Office directly connected to the Government reporting system; IUU management software; AI camera system for forest fire warning; information monitoring platform on cyberspace; database for the health and education sectors...

"Based on the agreed framework content, we commit to continue to accompany and join hands with Ca Mau province in the coming time to effectively and successfully implement digital transformation," said Colonel Dao Xuan Vu.

Speaking at the signing ceremony, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Ca Mau Provincial Party Committee Huynh Quoc Viet pointed out that the operation of a two-level government demonstrates the Central Government's strategic vision for long-term development in the era of the Vietnamese nation's rise.

In Ca Mau, the province's long-term growth target is from double digits. To achieve the above goal, Ca Mau has been giving top priority to thoroughly applying digital transformation in all activities of the government, people and businesses, contributing to the effective implementation of Resolution 57 of the Politburo - Comrade Huynh Quoc Viet affirmed.
