To remember and express gratitude for the great contributions of soldiers who directly participated in the Dien Bien Phu campaign, Minister of Planning and Investment Nguyen Chi Dung kindly visited and presented 50 gifts to Dien Bien soldiers.

Sharing and encouraging students and teachers of Nam Vi Primary Boarding School for Ethnic Minorities (Muong Nhe District), the Minister presented gifts, scholarships and support to upgrade the school's facilities worth 300 million VND. The Minister also donated funds to build a bridge for people in Vang Ho village, Nam Vi commune (Muong Nhe District) worth 900 million VND. On this occasion, the Ministry's Trade Union and the Youth Union of the Ministry of Planning and Investment presented 200 warm blankets to students of Nam Vi Primary Boarding School for Ethnic Minorities; the Faculty of Construction, University of Transport presented 50 scholarships to students of Nam Vi Primary Boarding School for Ethnic Minorities, worth 50 million VND.

Speaking at the gift-giving ceremony, Minister Nguyen Chi Dung expressed his emotion and excitement when visiting Dien Bien province at a time when the whole country is looking forward to the 70th anniversary of the Dien Bien Phu Victory. Returning to the historic land of Dien Bien is also an opportunity to educate the revolutionary tradition for the young generation of the Ministry of Planning and Investment; to better understand and express infinite gratitude and deep appreciation for the great contributions of the heroes and martyrs who fought bravely and sacrificed for the cause of national liberation, construction and protection of the Fatherland. Today's generation needs to promote traditions to build an increasingly prosperous, prosperous, integrated and developed country. Minister Nguyen Chi Dung hopes that the soldiers of Dien Bien will always maintain their health to witness the innovation, development and achievements in the cause of national construction and development in the coming time.

Previously, Minister of Planning and Investment Nguyen Chi Dung and the delegation planted a memorial tree at the Martyrs' Temple at the Dien Bien Phu battlefield and visited the Dien Bien Phu Historical Victory Museum.
