Ministry of Science and Technology established CSID Center in Ho Chi Minh City

The Center for Development of Services and Exploitation of Science and Technology Infrastructure (abbreviated as CSID Center) has just been launched in Ho Chi Minh City.

CSID Center is a public science and technology organization under the Office of the Ministry of Science and Technology, implementing research activities, applying scientific and technological advances; providing scientific and technological services; supporting creative startups and innovation in the Southern region. The areas that CSID cooperates and prioritizes support are energy, new materials, artificial intelligence, green agriculture , biotechnology, information technology, logistics... This is also the unit that organizes propaganda activities, encourages and supports businesses to quickly bring research results into life.

According to Mr. Nguyen Manh Cuong, Deputy Chief of Office of the Ministry of Science and Technology, this is a service provision model that aims to shorten the gap between scientists and businesses, helping to commercialize products to the market. CSID is a pioneer in organizing activities according to the technology exchange model in the Southern region, helping to bring science and technology to be applied more widely in life.
