On the morning of June 15, speaking at the Central Public Security Party Committee Conference for the first 6 months of 2023, General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong especially commended the Central Public Security Party Committee and the Ministry of Public Security for being exemplary and taking the lead in the political system in bringing the Resolution of the 13th National Party Congress into life.

The Central Public Security Party Committee and the Ministry of Public Security have pioneered in innovating, rearranging the organizational apparatus, and restructuring the staff to suit the requirements and tasks of protecting security and order; taking the lead in national digital transformation, administrative reform to serve the people, applying scientific and technological achievements in performing the tasks of protecting security, order, and social governance, contributing to the construction of e-Government, digital Government, digital economy, digital society, creating a "breakthrough" in changing the state of operations in state management of security and order...

The General Secretary acknowledged that the Central Party Committee of the Public Security and the Ministry of Public Security have been exemplary, taking the lead, promoting their core role in the frontline in preventing and fighting the COVID-19 pandemic, in the fight against corruption and negativity, resolutely and persistently investigating and handling corruption and economic crimes according to the viewpoint of "no forbidden areas, no exceptions", truly creating a ripple effect according to the motto "handling one case to warn the whole region, the whole field, handling one person to save thousands of people", which has been agreed and supported by the people.

In addition, the General Secretary said that the Central Public Security Party Committee and the Ministry of Public Security are among the ministries and branches that actively promote and mobilize the community to take responsibility in caring for and effectively implementing socio-economic development policies, ensuring social security, public safety, human security, and improving the material and spiritual life of the people.

Acknowledging, praising and congratulating the achievements and feats of arms that the Central Public Security Party Committee and the Ministry of Public Security achieved in the first half of the term, General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong emphasized that the People's Public Security force has excellently fulfilled its assigned political tasks, affirming its role and position.

The General Secretary highly appreciated the spirit of innovation, daring to think, daring to do, daring to take responsibility before the Party and the people of the Central Public Security Party Committee and the Ministry of Public Security in leading and directing the implementation of political tasks. Some tasks under the responsibility of the Public Security force and some other tasks assigned to the Public Security force to preside over were demonstrated with a higher political scale and level, a greater role, impact and influence, beyond the normal scope of public security work compared to previous years.

General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong requested the Central Public Security Party Committee and the Ministry of Public Security to continue to promote their core role in implementing Resolution No. 12-NQ/TW of the Politburo on stepping up the building of a truly clean, strong, disciplined, elite, and modern People's Public Security force to meet the requirements and tasks in the new situation.

The Party leader requested the Central Public Security Party Committee and the Ministry of Public Security to closely coordinate with the National Assembly Party Delegation, the Government Party Affairs Committee, and provincial and municipal Party Committees to truly bring Resolution No. 12 and the resolutions of the Central Conference on socio-economic development and ensuring national defense and security to 2030, with a vision to 2045, of the 6 Economic Regions across the country into life.

Promote the exemplary and pioneering role in implementing the Resolution of the 4th Central Committee, Session XI and XII, and Conclusion No. 21-K1/TW on promoting Party building and rectification and the political system; continue to attach importance to Party building and force building, considering this a central and key task in both this term and the following terms.

According to the General Secretary, the Central Public Security Party Committee and the Ministry of Public Security need to urgently focus on leading and directing the Public Security force to be more determined and make more efforts in the second half of the term, first of all completing 8 tasks that need to be done immediately in 2023, creating new momentum and spirit to complete the entire 2023 work program.
