The Hung Kings Commemoration Festival is a journey back to the history of building and defending the nation, back to the will and aspiration for national independence, freedom, happiness, autonomy, self-reliance, prosperity and development. The festival contributes to further enriching and illuminating the truth: “Vietnam is one. The Vietnamese people are one. Rivers may dry up, mountains may erode, but that truth will never change” as President Ho Chi Minh once advised. With the spirit of national culture, with the morality of “When drinking water, remember its source”, the Hung Kings Commemoration Day will forever be one of the national holidays of the Vietnamese people.

In Binh Thuan, after nearly 2 centuries of existence, the Hung King Temple has become an indispensable belief in the spiritual and religious life of the people. The temple was ranked as a provincial-level art relic in 2010. This is the only temple in the province that still preserves quite fully the tangible and intangible cultural values classified as a relic by the State.

In 2016, on the occasion of attending the Hung Kings' Commemoration in Phu Tho, the Binh Thuan delegation was honored to receive and invite "land, water and incense" to the Hung Kings Temple, Phan Ri Cua town was chosen as the place to enshrine and worship. With affection, honor and responsibility, the people of Phan Ri Cua town were chosen to represent the people of the province to look after the Hung Kings' Temple and burn incense to worship their ancestors. Since then, every year, the people of the province have returned to the Hung Kings' Temple to pray together to build an increasingly prosperous Vietnam.
