On January 1, 2014, BIDV Tam Diep Branch officially came into operation on the basis of upgrading Tam Diep Transaction Office under Ninh Binh branch, being the 127th branch of BIDV network; with initial outstanding loan balance of 1,770 billion VND, mobilized capital of 630 billion VND and 3,227 customers, 1 affiliated transaction office in Tam Diep city.

After 10 years of operation with many difficulties and challenges, the Branch's scale of operation has increased 5.7 times compared to its establishment: outstanding credit balance reached 10,500 billion VND, capital mobilization reached 2,900 billion VND, the number of customers is 56,000 customers, the operating network has been expanded with 4 affiliated transaction offices located in the central areas of Ninh Binh city, Tam Diep city, Kim Son district and Yen Khanh district... The Branch's business efficiency is guaranteed, meeting the needs of customers well, contributing to promoting the local socio-economic development.

During 10 years of operation, the Branch has disbursed over VND 106 trillion in loans to serve customers, of which working capital lending turnover reached VND 96 trillion; medium and long-term lending turnover reached nearly VND 10 trillion... The Branch has implemented many lending programs with preferential interest rates to contribute to promoting production, business and consumption activities for economic sectors such as: export loans, loans for individual customers... and removing difficulties for businesses such as preferential credit packages to support customers affected by the COVID-19 pandemic...

Identifying customers as the center of business activities, customer care is always given attention and focus. The branch has launched customer development programs, increased digital customer base to increase convenience and diversify products and services provided to customers.

In addition to efforts to complete professional tasks well, the Branch always cares about ensuring the material and spiritual life of staff and workers.

Along with that, BIDV Tam Diep also actively participates in social security activities for the community in Ninh Binh province such as: Building houses of gratitude, providing financial support for poor students who overcome difficulties to study well, giving Tet gifts to poor households, implementing well the policies of the State and Government on supporting businesses and individuals affected by the COVID-19 epidemic... In the past 10 years, BIDV has spent more than 16 billion VND on activities such as building and purchasing teaching equipment, medical equipment, supporting the construction of new houses and giving gifts to poor households in the province. At the celebration, BIDV Tam Diep branch also donated 300 million VND to the Tam Diep City Social Security Fund.

Marking 10 years of construction and growth, BIDV Tam Diep Branch held the inauguration ceremony and put into use the new office. This is an important event, marking the new development strategy of BIDV Bank in the locality.

After a period of construction, BIDV Tam Diep's headquarters was handed over and officially put into use from June 10, 2024, at Dong Giao Street, Bac Son Ward, Tam Diep City, Ninh Binh Province. On this occasion, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Tran Song Tung presented emulation titles of the Provincial People's Committee to the collective, officers and employees of BIDV Tam Diep Branch.
