On April 4, at the Provincial Party Committee Headquarters, Comrade Nguyen Huu Nghia, Member of the Party Central Committee, Provincial Party Committee Secretary received and worked with Mr. Marc E. Knapper, US Ambassador to Vietnam. Also attending was Comrade Nguyen Hung Nam, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee.

At the reception, Provincial Party Secretary Nguyen Huu Nghia expressed his pleasure to welcome Mr. Marc E. Knapper, US Ambassador to Vietnam during his visit and work in Hung Yen province; at the same time, he briefly introduced to the Ambassador the socio-economic situation, culture, history, and people of Hung Yen province as well as the advantages of regional connectivity, technical infrastructure, social infrastructure, environment, etc., with rapid economic growth and urbanization.

Regarding attracting investment from the United States, among 631 foreign investment projects in Hung Yen province, there are 5 projects from US investors, with a total registered capital of 37 million USD. Currently, Hung Yen province is actively coordinating with central ministries and branches to promote the Trump Organization's Urban Complex, Resort, Ecotourism, Sports and High-class Golf Course Project in Hung Yen province to ensure the earliest implementation, in accordance with legal regulations, ensuring the interests of related parties...

Provincial Party Secretary Nguyen Huu Nghia hopes that the Ambassador will pay attention to introducing large US enterprises and investors to participate in regional and global supply chains; high-tech, environmentally friendly projects with spillover effects, linking with domestic enterprises, developing supporting industries... to invest in Hung Yen; introducing and promoting Hung Yen culture and people to international friends...

The Provincial Party Secretary affirmed that Hung Yen province always accompanies and creates the most favorable conditions in terms of land, customs, tariffs and legal procedures for US enterprises investing in Hung Yen province.

Thanking the warm welcome of the Provincial Party Secretary and leaders of Hung Yen province, US Ambassador to Vietnam Marc E. Knapper expressed his joy at the strong development of Hung Yen province; at the same time, he affirmed that the investment of a number of US enterprises in Hung Yen is the realization of the US Government's commitment to a comprehensive strategic partnership with Vietnam. The Ambassador said that Hung Yen province has attracted investment according to the right ecosystem and the successes in attracting investment in Hung Yen in the past continue to lead the way for future successes. The Ambassador sincerely thanked the provincial leaders for paying special attention to US investors and wished to continue supporting investors in Hung Yen province in the coming time. Including the Trump Organization's Urban Complex, Resort, Ecotourism, Sports and High-class Golf Course Project in Hung Yen province; Hope Hung Yen will reserve land for some US universities to invest in educational facilities in the province.

On the same day, US Ambassador to Vietnam Marc E. Knapper visited the statue of General Secretary Nguyen Van Linh (Hung Yen city); visited the Nom village cultural relic site, Dai Dong commune (Van Lam); and visited the Hanesbrand Vietnam factory in Chinh Nghia commune (Kim Dong).
