In the first quarter, the Standing Committees of the District Party Committees, Town Party Committees, and City Party Committees led and directed the promotion of propaganda, dissemination, understanding, research, and study of directives and resolutions of the Central Committee, the Provincial Party Committee, and the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee. Party committees and Standing Committees of district-level Party committees regularly grasp the thoughts of cadres, party members, and public opinion; promptly orient and report to competent authorities to promptly direct and handle outstanding issues of public concern, contributing to ensuring the stability of the thoughts of cadres and party members to successfully implement the goals and tasks of socio-economic development, building a clean and strong Party and political system.

In the first quarter, the province's economic growth ranked 9th out of 11 provinces and cities in the Red River Delta and 17th out of 63 provinces and cities nationwide. The province's gross regional domestic product (GRDP) increased by 8.96% over the same period in 2024. The industrial production index increased by 9.39% over the same period last year. State budget revenue is estimated at VND 12,109 billion; total social investment capital reached VND 17,202 billion, up 21.46% over the same period last year.

Site clearance work continues to receive strong leadership and direction from local Party committees and authorities. Industrial production - construction, services continue to grow well. Regarding the tasks in the second quarter, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Nguyen Huu Nghia requested local Party committees and authorities to focus on leading and directing the implementation of administrative unit mergers according to the direction and guidance of superiors so that the implementation of the 2-level local government model when put into operation ensures streamlining, efficiency, effectiveness and efficiency; proactively develop plans to arrange staff, review assets, works, facilities, documents and archives in the implementation of commune mergers, and end of district-level activities; prepare conditions for grassroots Party congresses immediately after receiving new directives, plans and instructions from superiors. Party committees, agencies and organizations review the inspection, examination and supervision plans for 2025 to organize implementation in accordance with the practical situation, focusing on the areas of land management, finance, environmental resources, waste, etc.

Provincial Party Secretary Nguyen Huu Nghia requested localities to continue to closely follow the goals, tasks and solutions set out at the beginning of the year to focus on ensuring that all activities and tasks take place smoothly, continuously, without interruption, without interruption; in which, focusing on public investment and private investment.
