Many children dive into the water, others cling to logs floating from upstream, playing in the deep, fast-flowing river with sharp rocks. Although this is a familiar activity in the summer, in the murky flood water conditions, with many dangerous obstacles such as tree roots and rocks floating downstream, the risk of accidents is very high.

Ms. Vi Thi Tam, a local resident, worriedly said: “I don’t know where the children’s parents went to let their children swim in the stream when the water is so high. There are many sharp rocks in the stream and the water is flowing strongly, which is very dangerous.”
