Indian doctor will come to Vietnam to study for master's degree in medicine

According to information from the school, these are also the first programs following the internationalization policy of Hanoi National University. These first four programs include master of internal medicine, master of surgery, master of pediatrics and master of radiology and nuclear medicine, which have been accredited and taught entirely in English.

"This is a big step forward for the University of Medicine and Pharmacy after 5 years of establishment, not only affirming its training position domestically but also reaching international standards. The network of 29 central hospitals and Hanoi will be clinical practice facilities. India will be the first place to send students to study" - said a representative of the University of Medicine and Pharmacy.

According to this leader, the reason why Indian doctors choose to study postgraduate in Vietnam is partly because domestic training facilities cannot meet the demand, but more importantly, Vietnam has become a highly regarded destination for the quality of training in the medical and pharmaceutical field.

There are currently more than 400 Indian students studying at medical universities in Can Tho and Ho Chi Minh City. The University of Medicine and Pharmacy, Vietnam National University, Hanoi is the first training institution in the northern region to accept Indian doctors for training.

"Attracting international students to study in Vietnam is extremely necessary and meaningful when creating an international environment right in Vietnam. In this first course, it is expected that over 100 Indian doctors will come to study at our school" - said a representative of the University of Medicine and Pharmacy.
