From the evening of June 21 to 24, water levels on rivers in the province are likely to flood. Flood peaks on Thuong River and Luc Nam River may be at alert level I to alert level II. Flood peaks on Cau River at Dap Cau Hydrological Station are at alert level II to above alert level II.
Heavy rain in a short period of time poses a risk of local landslides in small streams, steep terrain, and embankments on traffic routes and construction works along rivers in the districts of Lang Giang, Yen The, Son Dong, Luc Ngan, Luc Nam, and Hiep Hoa; local flooding in residential areas, overloading of urban drainage systems, and traffic congestion.
It is known that from last night to this morning (June 21), in Thai Nguyen province, there was heavy rain causing localized flooding, many places were deeply flooded, forcing the authorities to deploy urgent measures to evacuate people from flooded areas. In Bac Giang , the provincial authorities are closely monitoring weather developments, promptly providing warning information so that people can take measures to prevent and combat natural disasters.
