DTO - Ms. Tran Thi My (born in 1953) in Phu Nong hamlet, Phu Hiep commune, Tam Nong district is currently in critical condition due to many serious illnesses and hopes for help from benefactors.

Mrs. My is recovering at home.

Ms. Vo Thi Trinh (Mrs. My's youngest child) said: “My mother has high blood pressure, middle cerebral artery occlusion and stenosis; cerebral infarction; atrial fibrillation and atrial flutter; heart failure; atrial septal defect... The doctor said that she must persevere with treatment, otherwise it will affect her life. Because of her poor family background, she cannot afford to continue treating her. Up to now, my mother's body has been ravaged by the disease, causing pain, her two legs are so atrophied that she cannot walk, she eats very little, and needs help with her personal activities.”

Mrs. My's family is currently very poor. She and her husband are old and are living with the family of Ms. Trinh's youngest daughter in a charity house built from a support program for militiamen in difficult circumstances since 2018. When they were healthy, Mrs. My and her husband sold lottery tickets. Since Mrs. My became ill, her husband and daughter have had to stay home to take care of her and her grandchild who also has a congenital disease and cannot walk. Ms. Trinh's husband works as a Hamlet Captain (Phu Nong Hamlet) and has to work for hire every day to earn money to help his family support his sick mother-in-law.

Mr. Nguyen Thanh Cong - Chairman of Phu Hiep Commune Red Cross Society said that Mrs. My's family situation is very difficult. Mr. Le Phuong Thao - Vice Chairman of Tam Nong District Red Cross Society just came to the house to give patient My a wheelchair and some money. Recently, the Commune Red Cross Society and neighbors have also supported money and rice for the family to temporarily survive... We hope that benefactors will help Mrs. Tran Thi My to continue her treatment and overcome this serious illness.
