AI is the core foundation of today's technological revolution.

- First of all, thank you for taking the time to talk with Quang Tri Newspaper reporters. Could you please introduce yourself to the newspaper readers?

- Hello, I am Tran Khanh Tu, an expert in applying artificial intelligence in education, training and business. Currently, I am the founder and operator of training programs and strategic consultants to bring AI to serve human and business development. Up to now, our unit has successfully implemented many practical AI training programs, helping thousands of students understand the value and know how to apply this technology to work and life. In particular, I have successfully built learning and business communities using AI, creating high-quality human resources, ready for strong digital transformation in many localities, including Quang Tri.

- It is known that you are one of the pioneers in approaching AI in Vietnam. So what chance brought you to AI?

- Right from the first days of Chat GPT's global launch, when in Vietnam it was not yet possible to create an official account, I approached AI. The reason I chose AI is not only because it is an inevitable trend of the times, but also because I clearly see that in the future, AI will help people free up time, improve work efficiency and open up new breakthroughs in education, business and personal development.

For me, AI is not just technology, it is a companion, a right-hand man to help me realize my mission: to enlighten knowledge, inspire and create positive changes for the community. I always believe that knowledge, if guided in the right direction, will become a national asset.

- How do you evaluate the importance of AI in today's era?

- AI is playing a pivotal and indispensable role in the current era. We are witnessing a profound transformation in every field thanks to the power of AI. From familiar applications such as virtual assistants, intelligent recommendation systems, to breakthroughs in medicine with the ability to diagnose diseases more accurately, or in manufacturing with automated processes and performance optimization, AI is proving its ability to solve complex problems that were previously difficult for humans to do. The core lies in the ability to analyze huge amounts of data quickly and effectively, thereby extracting valuable information and making smart predictions and decisions. This not only helps improve productivity and efficiency at work but also opens up unprecedented opportunities for innovation.

In the context of globalization and increasingly fierce competition, AI has become a key competitive advantage for countries and businesses. Investing in and applying AI strategically will determine the ability to break through and lead in the future. However, besides the great potential, we also need to be aware of the accompanying challenges such as ethical issues, data security and impacts on the labor market. It is important to develop and apply AI responsibly and sustainably. I believe that artificial intelligence is no longer a trend but a core element that shapes our future. Grasping, researching and applying AI effectively will bring great benefits to society and open a new era of promising development.

AI will contribute to improving the socio-economic appearance of Quang Tri

- Participating in guiding cadres and workers in the province in recent days, in your opinion, what are the key factors for the popular digital education movement in particular and digital transformation in general to develop sustainably and effectively?

- What an interesting question. In my opinion, there are three key factors for the sustainable development of the digital literacy movement. The first is people: investing in digital skills training helps people not only master technology but also confidently exploit the value of AI. The second is digital infrastructure: strengthening the construction of solid digital infrastructure, creating favorable conditions for AI to be widely applied. The third is support policies: having clear policies from leaders, encouraging creative models, technological innovation and digital startups. Meanwhile, with digital transformation, it is necessary to focus on key solutions such as developing digital human resources by implementing short-term and in-depth training courses on AI, aiming to build a team of local technology experts. Raising awareness and AI skills, focusing on strengthening community training programs so that people understand AI and confidently apply it to work and life. Along with that is creating a practical environment, promoting the application of AI in key areas of the province.

Quang Tri province currently has great opportunities from the support of the State and the interest of the business community in applying AI. The biggest challenge is probably the gap in digital skills among the population and the construction of a synchronous and effective digital infrastructure. However, in the short working days just passed, I was really impressed when seeing the eagerness to learn, the desire to learn and the spirit of daring to think and dare to do of everyone. I believe that with this spirit and a clear roadmap, Quang Tri will soon overcome obstacles, make a strong breakthrough in the digitalization journey, and become a bright spot in AI application. So that when mentioning this land, people will not only remember the glorious past of the nation but also consider it a center of digital intelligence in the future.

- Do you have any advice for leaders, businesses and people of Quang Tri to seize the opportunities from this 4.0 industrial revolution?

- One of the biggest advantages of AI is the ability to personalize the learning experience according to the level and unique needs of each learner. I recommend that the province apply tools such as adaptive learning systems, 24/7 learning support chatbots, and highly interactive online learning platforms to create engaging content that is suitable for each individual. When learners clearly feel the value that AI brings, they will automatically stick with and maintain long-term interest in learning, creating a strong and comprehensive wave of digital learning.

In the near future, AI will certainly play a key role in shaping and enhancing the socio-economic appearance of Quang Tri. I believe that AI will create breakthroughs in the province's key economic sectors such as smart tourism, agriculture, high technology and modern education. My advice to leaders, businesses and people of Quang Tri is to boldly invest in building digital capacity, constantly update new knowledge and proactively explore AI applications. In particular, consider AI as a strategic companion, not a challenge or barrier. Taking advantage of opportunities from AI, Quang Tri can absolutely become one of the pioneering localities in the 4.0 industrial revolution, bringing a prosperous life to the people.
