This is the information given by the Department of Health of Dong Nai province at the Conference on population work, reproductive health care, nutrition in the first 6 months of the year and deployment of tasks for the last months of 2025, taking place on the morning of August 12.

In the first 6 months of the year, Dong Nai province also recorded a decrease of 64 children born as the third child or more compared to the same period last year. In addition, 26 cases of obstetric complications were also recorded. Most of the complications were promptly treated or transferred to the hospital safely.
Regarding reproductive health care, indicators such as: the rate of pregnant women having 4 prenatal check-ups in 3 periods; the rate of pregnant women receiving support from medical staff; the rate of mothers and newborns receiving postnatal care; the rate of pregnant women being tested for HIV during pregnancy... all met the set plan.
Regarding nutrition, the province is currently implementing the following activities: Improving children's nutritional status under the health and population program; improving nutrition activities under the National Target Program for Sustainable Poverty Reduction; the project on taking care of people's health, improving the physical condition and stature of ethnic minorities, and preventing child malnutrition.
