Over the past 20 years, the organization of the national great unity festival has always been directed, coordinated and implemented by Party committees, authorities and the Fatherland Front at all levels, achieving comprehensive results. Thai Binh province has over 40,000 residential areas organizing the festival with many highlights and unique features. Through the festival, the tradition of solidarity, mutual love, mutual support and mutual assistance among the people has been aroused and promoted, socio-economic development has been promoted, village and neighborhood relations have been strengthened; the grassroots democracy regulations have been built and implemented well; conventions, village regulations, legal disciplines have been established, backward customs have been eliminated, and a new cultural lifestyle has been formed among the people. In the province, 1,797/1,797 villages and residential groups have built village regulations and conventions, making an important contribution to regulating social relationships of a self-governing nature in the community, and building a new cultural lifestyle. People's awareness of protecting the green - clean - beautiful environment is increasingly raised. Movements to build cultural families, villages, residential groups, communes meeting new rural cultural standards, wards and towns meeting urban civilized standards, associated with promoting other emulation movements are widely organized and implemented; thereby spreading and replicating typical advanced examples, good people, good deeds in all areas of social life. Over the past 20 years, the whole province has recognized 12,163 "advanced residential areas", "cultural residential areas"; 10.4 million families have achieved the title of "cultural family". Through the festival, solidarity in residential areas is strengthened, encouraging and motivating people to compete in labor production, helping each other to sustainably reduce poverty, strive to become rich legitimately, actively participate in building new rural areas, making Thai Binh a bright spot of the whole country in this movement. Up to now, the whole province has 25 communes meeting the advanced new rural standards, 5 communes have been assessed and are completing documents to submit to competent authorities for recognition. The organization of the national great unity festival in residential areas in the province has promoted the innovation of the content and methods of operation of the Fatherland Front; at the same time, mobilizing the combined strength of the entire political system, the role of the people in participating in building the Party, the government, the Fatherland Front and mass organizations to be increasingly clean and strong.

At the conference, delegates discussed and shared good, creative and effective ways of doing things; at the same time, proposed solutions to create a new change in organizing the national solidarity festival, so that the festival becomes a large and practical social activity, taking good care of the material and spiritual life of the people, truly a festival of the people.

Speaking at the conference, comrade Nguyen Tien Thanh, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council acknowledged and commended the outstanding results in 20 years of organizing the national great unity festival; affirmed that the festival has become an indispensable cultural feature in the community, mobilizing the combined strength of the entire political system and the entire people to build the homeland of Thai Binh to develop more and more.

He suggested that in the coming time, all levels, sectors, the Fatherland Front and socio-political organizations should carefully evaluate and find solutions to overcome shortcomings and limitations so that the festival can effectively promote its role in connecting the community and mobilizing the strength of the entire people to carry out the task of socio-economic development in each locality. In which, the entire political system and all classes of people join hands and are determined to overcome all difficulties and challenges to successfully implement the goals and tasks set out in the Resolution of the 20th Provincial Party Congress. Party committees, authorities and the Fatherland Front at all levels need to clearly understand their roles and responsibilities in organizing the national great unity festival so that the festival can truly be a broad political activity; thereby building and consolidating the great unity bloc of the entire people, building a new cultural lifestyle in the community; promoting the creativity and dynamism of each base, applying good practices to local practices to ensure substance and effectiveness. Through the festival, emulation movements are widely launched, first of all, emulation promotes socio-economic development to improve people's lives, increase rich households, reduce poor households, build solidarity and mutual love in the community, build a new cultural lifestyle in residential areas, maintain political security, social order and safety in the area. Along with that, the Fatherland Front at all levels continues to innovate its methods of operation, focus on the grassroots, mobilize people to agree in implementing site clearance, participate in building advanced new rural areas, model new rural areas and civilized urban areas. Focus on discovering, promptly praising and rewarding and replicating advanced examples in implementing patriotic emulation movements, creating a widespread spread in the community. Promote democracy, pay attention to listening, focus on removing difficulties and obstacles for the grassroots, thoroughly resolve opinions and recommendations, ensure the legitimate and legal rights and interests of the people, contribute to strengthening people's trust in the leadership of the Party and authorities at all levels, and promote socio-economic development.
