3 mother and children in Nghe An swept away by flood: Mother's body found

This morning (September 21), the leader of Anh Son District People's Committee said that Ms. Pham TT (born in 1986), residing in Tuong Son commune, was found after being swept away by floodwaters on the afternoon of September 20.

Ms. T. was found floating about 200m downstream. Her body was washed up in a cornfield next to a stream in Hoa Son commune.

Earlier, at around 4pm on September 20, at Khe Coc bridge, a mother and her three children were riding an electric bicycle across the spillway and were swept away by floodwaters. The two children (8 and 10 years old) were lucky to cling to a bamboo bush and were saved.
