3 steps to make 'aristocratic' music

Recently, searching for the keyword “Modern Chamber Music” on YouTube has brought up many music videos remixing familiar songs with the help of AI. Songs like “Phap Miracle”, “Con gi dep hon ”, a song inspired by the movie “Mua do”, or Son Tung’s million-view product, seem to have been added to a whole symphony, bringing new melodies.

A slew of similar videos have been released in the past week or so. With AI tools for vocal filtering and mixing, anyone can experiment with reinventing songs they’re already familiar with.

First, download the desired song and save it as an audio file such as .mp3, .mov. If it is released on YouTube, users can record the screen and then find an audio extractor tool available online to get the audio version.

To create an instrumental piece, users need to separate the vocals from the background music. To do this, upload the exported audio to voiceremover.org, a free AI tool that can do the job. Note, however, that each unpaid account is limited to uploading less than 10 minutes of audio per day.

The tool will take about 1-5 minutes to process depending on the length of the recording. When finished, users can press to mute the background music to listen to the filtered vocals again and press to download only the vocals.

Next, users use Suno AI to reconstruct the song. This is a tool that generates music and lyrics from text descriptions only. For the free version, users are given 50 credits, equivalent to 10 songs/day. However, Suno has an AI-generated song recognition mechanism, and for the Basic package, the page clearly states that all generated songs are not for commercial use.

Users can link accounts from Apple, Facebook, Gmail, Outlook and Discord or log in to Suno with a phone number. If you don't have an account yet, click register and enter your information.

Go to Suno and select Cover the filtered audio track.

Once you get to the main interface, find the Create button with a musical note in the left corner, click Add Audio and upload the filtered background music recording. After the system completes, click Continue, the uploaded song will be in the Library section.

Now, you can name the folder as you like, then click on the 3 dots icon, select Remix/Edit and click Cover. In the options for the track, click on Instrumental to use only the orchestration.

In the Style description, list English adjectives related to the music genre you are targeting. For example, for chamber music, you should add attributes like majestic, orchestral, and classical instruments like violin and cello.

For the paid version, users can also adjust the level of eccentricity, or the musical style. Once satisfied with the choices, press Remix and download the new mix.
