At the 4th awarding ceremony, Dak Nong province received 24 applications for the title of "People's Artisan" and "Meritorious Artisan" in the field of intangible cultural heritage. Of which, 4 applications were for the title of "People's Artisan" and 20 applications were for the title of "Meritorious Artisan".

At the meeting, the council members gave their opinions on the dossiers and agreed to select 23 dossiers to continue to propose to the competent authority to consider and submit to the President to award the title of "People's Artisan" to 4 excellent artisans and the title of "Excellent Artisan" to 19 artisans in the province according to regulations. 1 dossier for consideration of awarding "Excellent Artisan" did not guarantee the number of years of practicing intangible cultural heritage according to regulations.

Speaking at the meeting, comrade Ton Thi Ngoc Hanh, Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, Chairman of the Provincial Awarding Council emphasized that the awarding of the titles "People's Artisan" and "Meritorious Artisan" aims to promptly honor individuals with outstanding professional talents, great contributions, and exemplary contributions to the cause of protecting and promoting the value of intangible cultural heritage, while at the same time, encouraging artisans to continue to preserve and develop the fields of intangible cultural heritage in the province.

Vice Chairwoman of the Provincial People's Committee Ton Thi Ngoc Hanh requested the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, the standing body of the Council, to receive comments from council members; coordinate with relevant individuals and units to complete the dossier, properly and fully implement the procedures to submit the dossiers to the Ministerial Council on time, as required by regulations.
