The three latest banks to increase deposit interest rates include VPBank, increasing interest rates for deposits from 1-36 months by 0.2-0.3% per year; Eximbank, increasing interest rates for deposits from 1-3 months by 0.2% per year; BaoViet Bank, increasing interest rates for deposits from 1-36 months by 0.2-0.4% per year.

Of the 19 banks that have increased deposit interest rates since the beginning of June, 5 banks have increased interest rates twice, including MB, VIB, BaoVietBank, Eximbank and GPBank.

According to statistics, there are two banks applying Interest rates above 5%/year for 6-month deposits are NCB (5.05%/year) and CBBank (5.15%/year).

For 9-month term deposit interest rates, interest rates from 5%/year are listed at BaoViet Bank, Bac A Bank, and Kien Long Bank (5%/year), CBBank and Nam A Bank (5.1%/year), GPBank (5.2%/year), NCB (5.25%),

At the 12-month deposit term, interest rates from 5%/year appear more and more when there are up to 22 banks paying interest rates at these levels.

In which, the highest bank interest rate for 12-month deposit term is 5.75%/year (GPBank).

Next is the interest rate of 5.6%/year currently applied at ABBank, BVBank and NCB. BaoViet Bank and HDBank are behind with an interest rate of 5.5%/year.

MSB, Nam A Bank and OceanBank apply interest rate of 5.4%/year for 12-month term deposits.

CBBank pays an interest rate of 5.3% for this term, while the interest rate of 5.2%/year is being applied at KienLong Bank, VietA Bank, VietBank, VPBank.

LPBank is the only bank paying 5.1% interest per year for 12-month term deposits. A series of banks paying 5% interest per year for this term include: Eximbank, MB, PGBank, Saigonbank, SHB and TPBank.

There are 26 banks listing interest rates from 5%/year for 18-month term deposits. Of which, the highest deposit interest rate for this term is up to 6.1%/year, applied at NCB and HDBank.

The group of banks paying high interest rates for 18-month terms also includes OceanBank (5.9%/year), GPBank (5.85%/year) and BVBank, BaoViet Bank, VietBank (5.8%/year).

6.1%/year is also the highest interest rate for 24- and 36-month deposits. NCB is listing an interest rate of 6.1% for both terms; HDBank applies it for the 24-month term and OceanBank applies it for the 36-month term.

OceanBank is also among the top banks in terms of 24-month term interest rates (6%/year), while the 6%/year interest rate is also applied to 36-month term deposits at OCB.
