Candidates who arrive late after the starting time of the exam, section, or subject (hereinafter referred to as the exam) are allowed to take the exam in the following cases: No more than 5 minutes for exams with a maximum exam time of 30 minutes or no more than 10 minutes for exams with a maximum exam time of 60 minutes or more; Force majeure events or objective obstacles occur as prescribed by law, preventing the candidate from being present on time or within the prescribed time. The Head of the Examination Board, the Head of the Interview Board, and the Head of the Examination Board shall report to the Chairman of the Council for consideration and decision on whether the candidate is allowed to take the exam in specific cases.
Also according to Clause 1, Article 1 of Circular 001/2025/TT-BNV dated March 17, 2025 of the Ministry of Home Affairs, from May 1, 2025, candidates taking civil servant recruitment exams, civil servant promotion exams are not allowed to bring into the exam room mobile phones, recorders, cameras, computers; technical means of receiving, transmitting, transmitting information, means of backing up data, other information storage and transmission devices, except where otherwise provided.
