Nam Dinh spends 26 billion to reward students and teachers with excellent achievements

On August 8, the People's Committee of Nam Dinh province held a ceremony to honor excellent students in the 2023-2024 school year.

Director of Nam Dinh Department of Education and Training Cao Xuan Hung said that in the 2023-2024 school year, the Nam Dinh Department of Education and Training has implemented many solutions to improve the qualityof education .

The Department of Education and Training has organized many competitions and created conditions for students to participate in exams and competitions... organized by the Ministry of Education and Training. In these competitions, many students have won high prizes.

In the 2024 high school graduation exam, Nam Dinh ranked 2nd in the country with an average score of 7,369 points; 9/9 subjects were in the top 10 provinces with the highest average scores nationwide; especially the average score in Mathematics, which has been leading for 10 consecutive years. Nam Dinh's high school graduation rate reached 99.95%. This province also has many students who are valedictorians at major universities.

Speaking at the ceremony, Vice Chairman of Nam Dinh Provincial People's Committee Tran Le Doai acknowledged the results achieved by the education and training sector in the 2023-2024 school year.

The Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee also expressed his hope that the students will continue to maintain their learning spirit, achieve higher goals and be the ones to inspire students across the province.

The Organizing Committee also announced the award decisions of the Ministry of Education and Training, the Provincial People's Committee, the Luong The Vinh Scholarship Fund, the Department of Education and Training and awarded 560 excellent students and excellent teachers with a total prize money of over 2.6 billion VND.
