The program was broadcast live on Hanoi Radio and Television and rebroadcast at two locations: August Revolution Square and Gia Lam Railway Factory.
Attending the program were Politburo member, Secretary of the City Party Committee, Head of the Hanoi National Assembly Delegation Bui Thi Minh Hoai; Party Central Committee member, Permanent Deputy Head of the Central Mass Mobilization Commission Pham Tat Thang.

Also attending the program were Deputy Secretary of the Hanoi Party Committee Nguyen Van Phong; First Secretary of the Central Youth Union Bui Quang Huy, and President of the Central Association of Former Vietnamese Youth Volunteers Vu Trong Kim.

At the program, Secretary of the Hanoi Youth Union Chu Hong Minh reviewed the 60-year history of the "Three Ready" movement - a typical revolutionary action movement of the capital's youth and the youth of the whole country. Accordingly, exactly 60 years ago, on the evening of August 9, 1964, the Hanoi Youth Union Executive Committee launched the "Three Ready" movement throughout the city, lighting up the revolutionary spirit of Hanoi's youth, students and pupils.

The “Three Readies” movement has the following contents: “Ready to fight; ready to join the armed forces; ready to go anywhere, do anything the Fatherland needs”. From August Revolution Square, thousands of Hanoi youths, full of youthfulness and enthusiasm, set out to fight in the bright fire with the resounding oath of “Three Readies”… “Three Readies” has become one of the largest revolutionary action movements of the youth of the capital and Vietnamese youth in the 20th century.
The Secretary of the Hanoi Youth Union said that in the current period, facing new requirements, inheriting the Three Readies movement and patriotic movements of the youth, the City Youth Union has launched and implemented revolutionary action movements such as: "Volunteer Youth", "Creative Youth", "Youth shock troops to protect the Fatherland", "I love Hanoi" ... to promote the role of shock troops, volunteers, and creativity of the youth in building the capital and protecting the Fatherland.

Young volunteers in the capital have actively donated blood to save lives, participated in supporting the exam season, maintained traffic order and safety, actively participated in building new rural areas, administrative reform, economic development; started creative businesses; volunteered to go to remote, disadvantaged areas, border areas, islands...
"The youth of the capital are aware that each stage of development of the capital and the country requires the Youth Union at all levels to always renew itself, keep up with the development trends of society and the needs of the youth. The Union must be a place to inspire, arouse noble aspirations and take action to realize those aspirations in each youth, each young person; volunteer to take on difficult tasks, new tasks; build the beloved capital into a city of fast and sustainable development" - Secretary of the Hanoi Youth Union affirmed.

According to the Secretary of the Hanoi Youth Union, the City Youth Union and each member and youth of the Capital always affirm their responsibility towards the Fatherland and love for Hanoi with a great aspiration and through specific and practical actions; promote the pioneering and creative role of the youth in successfully implementing the political tasks of the Central and the City; firmly "holding the red flag with the yellow star forward" as expected by General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong and worthy of the advice of beloved President Ho Chi Minh when he was alive: "For all tasks, the Capital's youth must set an example for the youth of the whole country".
At the program, Secretary of the Hanoi Party Committee Bui Thi Minh Hoai and other Central and City leaders presented meaningful gifts of gratitude to historical witnesses who directly participated in the "Three Ready" movement.

Next, at two locations, the political and artistic program “Aspiration for Youth - Forever the Flame of Three Ready” took place. The program recreated a proud historical period of the youth of the Capital in particular and the youth of the whole country in general.

The art performances were elaborately staged with modern sound and lighting effects, the stories were told alternately between two points: August Revolution Square and Gia Lam Railway Factory - places that have gone down in history, "witnesses" who witnessed tens of thousands of enthusiastic young people of the Capital "Ready to fight; ready to join the armed forces; ready to go anywhere, do anything that the Fatherland needs".
The program brings to the national television audience an artistic space with full of colors and different levels of emotions about the images of the capital's youth union members in the glorious stages of the nation's history.
