According to research, the above image appeared on social media from the night of May 18, and was widely shared on May 19. Some people walking in the walking street around Hoan Kiem Lake (Hoan Kiem District) discovered the light column, took photos, recorded videos and posted them on social media.

"It is simply a man-made phenomenon that humans accidentally or intentionally created. This light pillar is caused by a lamp shining into the sky from somewhere, the light is refracted through the layers of clouds creating a magical image," he said.
