An Lao Commune is determined to reach the new rural finish line by 2027.

Attending the Congress were comrades: Nguyen Ngoc Luong - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee; Truong Van Dat - Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council.

An Lao commune was established on the basis of merging An Lao town (old) and An Tan and An Hung communes. The whole commune currently has a natural area of over 103.8 km², a population of 10,703 people with 3,247 households, distributed in 17 villages; of which, ethnic minorities have 791 households/3,077 people, accounting for 28.74% of the commune's population.

According to the report at the Congress, in the 2020-2025 term, despite many difficulties, the Party Committees of the localities before the merger still maintained political stability, socio-economic development, ensured national defense and security, and improved people's lives. Party building work was focused on, the leadership capacity and fighting strength of grassroots Party organizations were enhanced. The development of new Party members ensured quality, focusing on local resources; the principle of democratic centralism was strictly implemented.

Entering the new term, the Congress set out many key targets. In particular, the growth rate of total product value reached 12.5%/year; striving to achieve the goal of new rural development by 2027. Along with that, the multidimensional poverty rate was reduced by 4.12%/year, the average annual budget revenue was 20.87 billion VND, 100% of rural residents used clean water.

Speaking at the Congress, Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council Truong Van Dat suggested that in the 2025-2030 term, the Party Committee of An Lao commune needs to quickly stabilize its organization and apparatus, improve the efficiency of government operations, innovate management thinking towards a constructive government; build a great solidarity and unity bloc within the entire Party Committee.

In particular, the commune needs to focus on building a master plan for socio -economic development suitable for the new development space; it is necessary to clearly define the economic structure in the system of indicators to ensure that it is consistent with the viewpoints, goals, and orientations for the economic restructuring of the province; develop agriculture and forestry in a sustainable and modern direction; transform the structure of crops and livestock suitable for natural conditions; promote the application of science and technology, form concentrated production areas associated with value chains...

"In particular, effectively implementing national target programs, maximizing internal resources, combining with effectively mobilizing resources to invest in basic essential infrastructure; having solutions to support livelihoods, vocational training, creating jobs for people, and increasing income. In particular, Party committees and authorities must resolutely lead and direct the implementation of sustainable poverty reduction and improving people's lives as a key and continuous task, which must be focused on implementing substantially and achieving high efficiency" - Comrade Truong Van Dat emphasized.

The Congress announced the decisions of the Provincial Party Standing Committee on appointing key positions of the Party Committee for the 2025-2030 term. In particular, the new term Party Committee of the commune consists of 25 comrades (8 comrades are absent), comrade Phan Hoai Vu was appointed to hold the position of Secretary of the Party Committee of An Lao commune.
