The Party admission ceremony was held when Ship 359 and the unit had just successfully completed the assigned mission, on the way back to the unit in a solemn atmosphere, following the order, procedures, and Party Charter. Before the Party flag, the National flag, the portrait of the great President Ho Chi Minh and witnessed by the Party members in the Party Cell, the oath of the new Party member was taken. This is a meaningful event in the life of every soldier, at the same time contributing to affirming the growth and development of Party organizations in the Vietnam People's Army.

Awarding the decision to admit new Party members.

Speaking at the admission ceremony, Lieutenant Tran Chi Cong, a professional soldier, shared: “Being admitted to the Party is an important turning point in my military career. I will continue to study and practice my political qualities, revolutionary ethics, professional qualifications and working style, and be ready to receive and complete all assigned tasks, contributing to firmly protecting the sacred sea and islands of the Fatherland.”

Developing new Party members is an important content of the Party building organization at all levels, playing a key and decisive role in improving the leadership capacity and fighting strength of the Party. In order to effectively implement the training and development of new Party members, every year as well as during the entire term, the Party Committees of the units under Naval Region 3 have implemented the work of developing new Party members regularly, synchronously, in accordance with the correct order, procedures and principles, focusing on quality, not chasing after quantity or targets.

With that spirit, based on the tasks and practical situation of the unit, right from the beginning of the year, the Party committees and commanders of agencies and units focused on reviewing and selecting qualified, truly excellent, exemplary soldiers with strong political will, good moral qualities, high sense of responsibility in performing duties and tasks, having the right motivation to strive, and being shining examples in the unit. From there, proceed to introduce new party member development sources and have a roadmap, plan for training, testing, inspection, and proposing admission at an appropriate time. In particular, cadres and soldiers who have to perform sudden tasks in difficult conditions are always of interest to the units. Organizing admission while performing tasks has created momentum and confidence for new party members, enhanced the fighting capacity of the Party organization, and contributed to the successful completion of assigned tasks.
