ABU Robocon 2025 Finals: Vietnam Team Wins Third Prize and ABU Prize

The final round of the Asia- Pacific Robot Contest (ABU Robocon) 2025 officially took place at the ASA Arena, ULaanbaatar, Mongolia.

This year’s competition brings together 14 teams from 13 countries and territories, including Cambodia, Egypt, Hong Kong (China), Fiji, India, Indonesia, Japan, Malaysia, Mongolia, Nepal, Sri Lanka, Thailand and Vietnam. Vietnam’s representative at the ABU Robocon finals this year is the LH-UDS team from Lac Hong University.

Previously, in June 2025, LH-UDS won the Vietnam Robocon 2025 with the theme "Basketball Warrior". This year's competition with the theme "Basketball Warrior" is highly direct and competitive, requiring the application of new technologies in robot design, as well as smart tactics and the ability to control situations right from the start of the match. The teams gave the audience exciting and dramatic performances.

The 2026 ABU Robocon Finals will take place in Hong Kong (China).
