The MoU marks the commitment of both parties to jointly explore potential cooperation opportunities, develop advanced technologies to improve aviation operational efficiency and enhance customer experience, through the application of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Robotic Process Automation (RPA).
Accordingly, Vietnam Airlines and Amadeus will jointly deploy an automatic fare adjustment model determined by AI in real time based on many factors, including: customer demand, market conditions, customer behavior, competitor prices and historical trends. The system aims to continuously learn and adapt, improving accuracy and efficiency over time through machine learning algorithms.

AI models are used to predict demand fluctuations and create additional value for passengers in the process of providing personalized services, improving customer satisfaction by optimizing ticket pricing options. On the airline side, the system's machine learning algorithms increase administrative efficiency and reduce wasted seats on flights.
As a result, Vietnam Airlines customers will have the opportunity to experience personalized services including individual offers for each customer, targeted communications, customized services based on customer preferences, travel history and other data information. At the same time, the two parties will also cooperate to enhance, improve and optimize the use of current Amadeus software to better meet the needs of the airline.
In 2024, Vietnam Airlines cooperated with Amadeus to successfully deploy the Amadeus Altéa Passenger Service System (PSS). This system provides Vietnam Airlines with comprehensive solutions for seat supply management, reservations, ticketing, departure control and digital technology to enhance the customer experience. Notably, Altéa PSS provides modern and efficient reservation services, facilitating frontline staff to assist customers in purchasing, changing and using services from the airline.
The cooperation between Vietnam Airlines and Amadeus affirms that Vietnam Airlines is always a pioneer and increasingly participates strongly in the digitalization of Vietnam's aviation industry, expanding international cooperation and receiving new technology transfer to fulfill the mission of the National Airline in the era of national development.
