Vietnam wins third prize in global technology competition

At the global finals of the Huawei ICT Competition 2023 - 2024, the Vietnamese team won third prize in the Network Track category after competing with more than 470 contestants from 160 teams from 49 countries and territories.

The Vietnamese team (9th and 10th positions from left) won the global third prize in the Network Track category at the Huawei ICT Competition 2023 - 2024.

This is the second consecutive time that the Vietnamese team has participated and won a high prize in the competition, affirming the capacity of Vietnamese students in the world knowledge arena.

The final round of the Huawei ICT Competition 2023 - 2024 just took place in Shenzhen - China with more than 170,000 students from more than 2,000 universities and colleges in 80 countries and territories participating.

The Vietnamese team, consisting of two students: Dang Phuong Khoi Nguyen (student of FPT University Da Nang) and Nguyen Dac Phuc (student of University of Economics and Technology), passed the national round and the Asia- Pacific regional round to continue to demonstrate their talents.

Dang Phuong Khoi Nguyen and Nguyen Dac Phuc said the contest is a valuable opportunity for students to improve their teamwork skills and together create intellectual and creative technology products.
