Social networks - positive aspects and risks
As someone who has been in contact with many young people, what is your opinion on the use of social networks by young people today?
In my view, young people's use of social media has several characteristics: First, integration into daily life. That is, social media has become an indispensable part of young people's lives, helping them connect, share information and interact with friends, family and the world around them.
Second, social media use can affect young people’s mental health. The pressure to have a perfect life, comparing yourself to others and being exposed to a large amount of information can cause stress and anxiety.
Young people may feel pressured to stay up to date and “consume” information constantly, so as not to be “left behind” or be ignorant of important events. Seeing others with more perfect lives (based on images shared online) can make them feel inferior and lose confidence in themselves. The comparison and pressure to show a better life on social media can cause anxiety about their social standing.
Third, social media has created a powerful platform for advertising. Young people often follow artists, celebrities and comment on products through these platforms.
Fourth, social networks are also places where misinformation and fake news spread rapidly, affecting the understanding and views of young people.
Fifth, sharing personal information on social media can pose privacy and security risks, especially for young people. It can be said that social media has changed the way young people interact and access information. However, it is necessary to pay attention to the negative impacts and use social media wisely and thoughtfully.
For famous and influential people, their every move has an impact on the community, especially their inappropriate statements often cause great harm to many people. What is your perspective?
I agree that celebrities and public figures have a great deal of responsibility for what they say and do. They are often admired and followed by others, so their actions and statements can have a huge impact on many people.
Celebrities should be aware of their social responsibilities and be considerate in their actions and words. They can spread positive messages and encourage healthy thinking and behavior in the community.
They can act as role models for how to live and work. Their behavior can influence their fans, especially the younger generations. Therefore, celebrities should be cautious in sharing information on social media platforms to avoid spreading misinformation or causing panic.
However, it should be noted that celebrities are also human beings, and they also have the right to freedom of speech. Therefore, the consideration and combination of freedom of speech and social responsibility is a challenge to face in evaluating their actions.

How to purify cyberspace?
Is there any way to “clean up” cyberspace, sir?
“Cleaning up” online can mean cleaning up and managing online accounts, personal information, or reducing exposure to unwanted content. Here are some ways I think individuals can do this.
Review all your online accounts and delete those you no longer need. This will help reduce the potential for personal information to be leaked. Also, make sure you have set your privacy settings for your social media accounts and personal websites to your liking. Remove your email address from spam lists by unsubscribing from unwanted notifications.
If you no longer want to follow certain people or pages on social media, you can unfollow or unfriend them. Review and remove unwanted content. Review your past posts, photos, and content and remove information that is no longer relevant.
Be careful about sharing personal information. Before sharing personal information, think about whether it is necessary and safe to share online. Use a time management app. Install a time management app to limit the time you spend on social media and avoid wasting too much time online.
In my opinion, cyber cleansing is an ongoing process that requires consideration. “Cleaning up” cyberspace applies not only to individuals but also to other entities such as businesses, organizations, websites and brands. “Cleaning up” cyberspace for organizations and brands is an important part of online management to ensure positive reputation and interactions with customers and the community.
This is also an important issue for regulators, both at the macro (Government) and micro (specific organizations and agencies) levels, helping regulators maintain their reputation, manage online information and interactions effectively, and protect important information.
What is your opinion on the recent scandal involving a Miss's slip of the tongue? Many people believe that because of her inappropriate statements, this Miss was attacked, harassed, and abused online. What lessons should be learned in social media etiquette, especially for celebrities?
It is never fair for a beauty queen or any other celebrity to be attacked, harassed, or abused online. Using social media to attack or defame others is an unethical behavior on the part of an individual and can cause mental and psychological harm to the victim.
In social media etiquette, I think there are some important lessons to keep in mind. That is respect for ethics and privacy. Everyone, including celebrities, should respect the privacy and ethics of others on social media.
Before sharing information or commenting online, think about the consequences of these actions and whether they contribute positively or negatively to online interactions. At the same time, promote healthy and constructive online interactions by showing respect and being willing to listen to differing opinions.
Clearly, social media users are lacking opportunities to be educated about their rights and responsibilities to engage in a positive and safe online environment. Illegal acts, including online harassment and violence, need to be clearly defined in practice and should be subject to legal action.
Encourage healthy and constructive online interactions by showing respect and being willing to listen to differing opinions. Ultimately, I think it’s important to foster a positive online culture, not just for celebrities, but for all online communities.
How can each individual using social networks clearly define their responsibility for every statement?
In order for each individual to use social media responsibly and be self-controlled in all statements, I think it is necessary to consider some important principles and guidelines. Specifically, learn and understand the rules and standards; control personal information; think before sharing; do not spread fake information; respect others; participate actively and constructively; face the consequences and try to correct mistakes; obey the law.
It is important to take responsibility for your social media statements to ensure a healthy and respectful online environment. Always ask yourself and others when engaging in online behavior: is it responsible and ethical?
Thank you!
