Accordingly, to ensure the safety of people in the face of storm No. 5, on the two land and sea borders, units of Lang Ho Border Guard Station, Ra Mai Border Guard Station, Ca Xeng Border Guard Station, Cha Lo International Border Gate Border Guard Station, Cua Tung Border Guard Station, Hai An Border Guard Station, Huong Phung Border Guard Station, Ba Nang Border Guard Station and Roon Border Guard Station... worked all night, working together with local authorities and support forces to evacuate and relocate households to safety. At the same time, they guided and helped people to reinforce their houses and properties to ensure safety before the storm made landfall.
Specifically, in Kim Ngan commune, Lang Ho Border Guard Station coordinated with the locality to mobilize and organize the relocation of 30 households/114 people to the headquarters of Kim Ngan Commune Military Command and National Defense Economic Group 79.
Ra Mai Border Guard Station and Cha Lo International Border Gate Border Guard Station coordinated with local authorities to mobilize and evacuate nearly 60 households to safe places, helping households in villages and hamlets in Dan Hoa commune to cross and reinforce houses, properties, and barns.
Ca Xeng Border Guard Station coordinated with local authorities to mobilize 9 households/22 people (Ruc people) to move to the On village Community Cultural House, Kim Phu commune to take shelter from the storm.

In the southern border area of Quang Tri province, officers and soldiers of Huong Phung Border Guard Station also actively coordinated with local forces and authorities to propagate and mobilize 9 households/41 people to move to a safe place and Ba Nang Border Guard Station closely coordinated with the locality to support the relocation of 44 households/177 people to a high and safe place.
On the sea border, Roon Border Guard Station coordinated with local authorities to relocate 500 workers from Lilama 10 Company and Lilama 18 Company to Quang Dong Primary School and Secondary School.
In the area under the management of Cua Tung Border Guard Station, this unit also coordinated with the locality to mobilize 100 households/500 people in Liem Cong Phuong village, Cua Tung commune to evacuate to a safe place. Hai An Border Guard Station also coordinated with functional forces and local authorities to evacuate 29/66 people to neighboring households with solid houses to take shelter from storms and rain.
The Quang Tri Provincial Border Guard Command has also organized 3 inspection teams to inspect the prevention and control of storm No. 5 in key areas and units; directed units and working groups to stay close to the area, work closely with the people, closely monitor the development of the storm, continue to propagate and support people to respond when the storm comes ashore.
According to information from the People's Committee of Quang Tri province, as of 5:00 a.m. on August 25, the province had evacuated on-site and in concentrated areas with a total of 1,362 households/4,139 people, completing the evacuation work. In particular, mainly arranging for on-site evacuation, transferring people from temporary, unstable houses to solid structures, tall houses, ensuring safety for people against storms.
