Nghe An Tax Department's 'Risk Tracking Tool' application honored

From November 27 to 29, in Ba Ria - Vung Tau province, the General Department of Taxation held a conference to introduce tools developed and deployed by the tax department itself.

Accordingly, the whole country had 11 tax departments and 18 individuals honored at the conference. Nghe An Provincial Tax Department and Director Nguyen Dinh Duc were honored to receive a Certificate of Merit for their outstanding achievements in applying information technology to tax management with the application "Risk monitoring tool".

The application is built and deployed based on practical management requirements with a scale that meets the needs of many users, with no limit on the number of visitors, for the purpose of: Updating and managing information to assess the risk level of taxpayers; Updating the results of surveys and assessing the initial risk level for taxpayers in the registration and use of electronic invoices; Updating and monitoring information on handling risky invoices sent by other tax authorities. At the same time, clearly defining the responsibilities of each department and each tax official in handling businesses with invoice risks; Assigning to monitor the results of urging tax declaration and payment for temporary construction contractors outside the province (projects not using state budget capital).

The application is a breakthrough in tax risk management and has high applicability nationwide.

Speaking at the conference, General Director Mai Xuan Thanh praised and acknowledged the efforts of the staff and civil servants of tax departments across the country. In addition to performing well the assigned political tasks, they have constantly made efforts, taking advantage of the strong development of the fourth industrial revolution (4.0), researching and self-developing management tools and applications to put into pilot application and have them appraised by the Department of Information Technology (General Department of Taxation) for widespread application.

The research and implementation of the application of the "Risk Monitoring Tool" in particular and information technology tools in general have contributed to strengthening management and close supervision in tax administration, minimizing risks, while promoting local tax departments to actively participate in the digital transformation ecosystem, creating more convenience for taxpayers and improving management efficiency for the tax sector.
