Balenciaga's latest tote bag is confusing many people because it looks like a regular plastic bag from the supermarket. The design also has many wrinkles to make it look used, even though it is brand new.
While most plastic supermarket bags are typically made from polyethylene (a common flexible plastic), this new tote bag is made from polyamide (a synthetic polymer, also known as nylon) and Dyneema (a super-strong, super-light synthetic fiber).
The medium-sized Balenciaga Marché Packable blue tote bag retails for $995. The front of the bag features the brand logo, two Paris store addresses, and website details.

This bag is part of the brand's Winter 25 collection. If you order now, you can expect to receive it around the end of October.
Although the fashion house was founded in Spain, its headquarters are located in the French capital Paris. However, this blue bag is actually made in Italy.
The brand says the bag can hold everything from phones to laptops weighing up to 10kg.
Social media users expressed a variety of attitudes towards this creation. Some were surprised, some joked, while others were willing to pay a large sum of money to own the item.
It can be seen that the Marché Packable bag model is suitable for fashionistas , those who love uniqueness and boldness or collectors of the brand.
The fashion house has launched many conventional handbags made from materials such as leather and suede. But the brand is also known for creating unusual products, inspired by everyday objects.
Three years ago, Balenciaga attracted attention when it launched the " world's most expensive trash bag" in its Fall Winter 2022 collection. The product quickly attracted attention when the model walked through a snowstorm indoors and hugged the "trash bag" tightly.
The design was said to be inspired by creative director Demna Gvasalia’s upbringing in Georgia. At the time, the bag, which retailed for around $1,790, was also a controversial subject.

In addition, the company also launched a Gaffer bracelet for women priced at $1,190 (over 31 million VND), which looks like a roll of clear tape. Or the Sports Loop Icon Cargo cap with torn seams and old details, retailing for $550 (nearly 15 million VND).
The brand also received criticism for selling a pair of “outdated” Puma sneakers that were priced significantly higher than the standard shoe. The special edition Speedcat, part of the Spanish fashion house’s Winter 25 collection, retails for $685.
Compared to the regular version, the special edition Speedcat has a ripped upper. Highsnobiety magazine likened this appearance to being possessed by a ferocious cat. In addition, the shoe also has a convenient pull tab on the heel, making it easier for the wearer to slip their feet on.
If you ignore the above details, the special edition Speedcat is no different from a regular pair of sneakers.
