Tran Dai Nghia School announces 6th grade entrance scores: Unprecedentedly high benchmark scores

The Department of Education and Training of Ho Chi Minh City has just announced the exam scores and admission scores for grade 6 at Tran Dai Nghia Secondary and High School.

This year's benchmark score is 73.25/100 points, the highest score in the school's survey history since 2015.

The previous highest year was 2015 with a benchmark score of 71.15/100.

Candidates enter their registration number to check their exam scores.

The admission score for grade 6 at Tran Dai Nghia Secondary and High School for the 2024-2025 school year is 67.5/100.

The entrance exam for grade 6 at Tran Dai Nghia Secondary and High School this year took place on June 16 with more than 4,800 excellent students taking the exam.

With a target of 350 students, this year, the competition ratio to enter the school is a record 1 to 14.

Candidates will take a 30-minute test consisting of two parts: essay and multiple-choice. The multiple-choice part consists of 20 English questions, testing knowledge of natural sciences , social sciences, and common sense. The essay part consists of English (listening, reading-comprehension, writing), logical thinking math, and reading-comprehension-writing.

Tran Dai Nghia Secondary and High School was separated from Tran Dai Nghia High School for the Gifted in 2024 according to Decision 1657 of 2024 of the Chairman of Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee.

The separation from Tran Dai Nghia High School for the Gifted is in accordance with the provisions of the Law on Education and the regulations of specialized schools, which do not allow non-specialized classes to exist in specialized schools.
