Pham Phu Thu High School - Go Noi: Caring for the quality of education

Last school year, Pham Phu Thu High School - Go Noi had 45 cadres, civil servants, public employees, and staff taking care of "human development" work in 19 classes with 749 students.

“We identify that doing a good job of organizing and managing the school is the most important factor to improve the efficiency and quality of educational activities. The school builds a united education council, brings the emulation movement forward steadily; improves the quality of comprehensive education; builds and consolidates the pedagogical environment, and strives for all activities to have practical effects on students,” shared teacher Le Ngoc Hung, Party Cell Secretary and Principal of the school.

The school has gradually completed the network of schools and classrooms, increased investment in facilities and equipment for teaching and learning. Mr. Tran Huu Thinh, Vice Principal of the school, said that in order to improve the quality of teaching and learning, the application of information technology in management as well as in professional work; building open learning resources, relatively rich resources, and building a test bank are focused on implementation.

Every school year, the school organizes a school-level competition for excellent teachers, creating a source of candidates for the provincial competition.

According to Mr. Thinh, in the 2024-2025 school year, the unit has 3 teachers participating in the competition and being recognized as "Excellent teachers at the provincial level".

Prioritizing moral education and life skills for students, teachers are always dedicated to investing in teaching and tutoring for final grade classes; paying attention to helping weak students by organizing tutoring without charging tuition. In the last 4 school years, the school has had no students with poor conduct or poor academic performance.

The school also focuses on investing in key areas and training excellent student teams to compete in the province. In the 2019-2020 school year, the school won 12 prizes at the provincial excellent student competition with modest achievements (1 second prize, 2 third prizes for individuals, 1 third prize for teams), but in the 2024-2025 school year, 19 individuals won prizes (4 second prizes, 6 third prizes). The students also won high prizes at provincial competitions and competitions; the Quang Nam Newspaper Traditional Cross-country Race, the game show "Students of Quang Nam"...
