High quality teaching staff

Built on a green campus of 23.6 hectares, Cuu Long University owns a modern and spacious infrastructure system. A special feature is that 100% of classrooms and auditoriums are equipped with air conditioning, creating the most comfortable learning environment for students.

The school has invested 150 billion VND to build the 8-storey "Health Science Center" building, including lecture halls, laboratories and modern clinics. The experimental area for applying and transferring science and technology has been invested in a systematic way to serve the needs of training and research. The dormitory area has been expanded with 1,200 accommodations, meeting the accommodation needs of students.

The school currently has a staff of about 1,100 staff and lecturers with solid professional qualifications, including: about 50 professors, associate professors; 147 doctors; 396 masters; nearly 300 doctors and pharmacists specializing in level I and II. In particular, the school also has foreign lecturers participating in teaching, meeting the requirements of international integration and improving the quality of training.

High employment rate of graduates

In 2025, the school developed 4 new majors, bringing the total number of enrolled majors to 38 with nearly 90 undergraduate majors in 4 main groups: Health Sciences, Social Sciences and Humanities, Engineering - Technology, Economics - Finance.

At the postgraduate level, the school offers 8 master's programs, 3 level 1 specialized programs and 4 doctoral programs (Business Administration, Banking and Finance, Food Technology, Vietnamese Literature). Currently, the school has 16 training programs that meet educational quality accreditation standards, including 11 undergraduate programs and 5 master's programs.

With nearly 35,000 students, Cuu Long University has become one of the largest training schools in the region. In particular, the Health Sciences sector with 12,000 students (accounting for nearly 40% of the total number of students in the whole school) includes 9 majors: Medicine, Traditional Medicine, Dentistry, Rehabilitation Technology, Pharmacy, Medical Laboratory Technology, Nursing, Midwifery, Medical Imaging Technology.

The quality of training is demonstrated through impressive figures: 100% of students majoring in Medical Laboratory Technology, Nursing and Pharmacy have jobs immediately after graduation. The employment rate of students across the school is 97%. To date, the school has awarded degrees to more than 38,000 bachelors, engineers and more than 1,200 masters.

Extensive and effective international cooperation

Implementing the internationalization strategy, Cuu Long University has cooperated with nearly 200 institutes, universities, associations, and enterprises from many countries and territories such as Japan, Korea, Taiwan, Thailand, Canada, Germany, Australia, Cambodia, Laos, and India.

Currently, Cuu Long University is one of 20 educational institutions authorized by the Ministry of Education and Training to train and grant Vietnamese language certificates to foreigners. The school has received and trained nearly 700 foreign students, with more than 70 students participating in internships and working in Japan and Germany. The school supports students in participating in employment and settlement programs abroad.

With the goal of "students are the center of training", the school designs the program with a theory: practice ratio of 40:60. Students have the opportunity to intern and gain practical experience at domestic and foreign establishments and enterprises, ensuring that they have in-depth professional knowledge, good practical skills and sufficient foreign language and computer skills.

The school has a diverse support policy with a total scholarship budget of tens of billions of VND each year, including annual scholarships, scholarships for encouraging learning and talent, Le Duc Hien scholarships, Principal scholarships and "Moto scholarships".

Scientific research and prestigious titles

Scientific research activities are strongly invested with 1 national level project, 4 provincial level projects, hundreds of grassroots level projects with a total budget of more than 5 billion VND. The school has successfully organized many international scientific conferences, enhancing academic reputation.

After 25 years of development, Cuu Long University has affirmed its brand with many titles: Top 100 most worth-studying universities in Vietnam; meeting the 2nd cycle of quality accreditation standards; having the largest solar power plant in Vietnam; Top 10 strong national brands; Top 20 Golden Brands 2024; Top 10 best universities in Vietnam 2024.

The school was honored to receive the 3rd class Labor Medal from the President of the Lao PDR, a Certificate of Merit from the Prime Minister and many other noble awards.

With the motto "Innovation in management, improvement of training quality and scientific research", Cuu Long University strives to become a prestigious training, scientific research and technology transfer center in the Mekong Delta region by 2028. By 2030, the school will develop into Cuu Long University with 5 member schools, having a high position on the national and international education map.
