Towards the 70th anniversary of Dien Bien Phu Victory (May 7, 1954 - May 7, 2024), on the morning of April 24, a working delegation led by Comrade Nguyen Van Hung, Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Head of the Provincial Party Organization Committee, visited and presented gifts to relatives of martyrs, wounded soldiers, former youth volunteers, and firemen who participated in the fight and served in the Dien Bien Phu Campaign, currently living in Thieu Hoa district.
Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Organizing Committee Nguyen Van Hung visited former youth volunteer Nguyen Xuan Tan in Hau Hien town.
Comrade Nguyen Van Hung, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Organizing Committee, and the delegation visited and presented gifts to the families of: Mr. Nguyen Xuan Tan, born in 1932, in Hau Hien town - a former youth volunteer; Mr. Le Van Luan, born in 1975, in Thieu Toan commune - the nephew of martyr Le Van Thu; Mr. Do The Thu, born in 1950, in Thieu Chinh commune - the son of martyr Do The Nhu.
Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Organizing Committee Nguyen Van Hung and Secretary of Thieu Hoa District Party Committee Nguyen Van Bien visited and presented gifts to the family of martyr Do The Nhu, Thieu Chinh commune.
At the places visited, on behalf of the provincial leaders, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Organizing Committee Nguyen Van Hung inquired about the health and living conditions of the martyrs, Dien Bien soldiers, youth volunteers, and frontline laborers who contributed to the historic victory of Dien Bien Phu with our army and people. He was delighted to see that the Dien Bien soldiers, despite their advanced age, were still healthy, alert, and living happily with their children and grandchildren.
The Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Organizing Committee expressed his hope that relatives, martyr worshipers, former youth volunteers, and frontline workers continue to uphold the revolutionary tradition, educate and encourage their children and grandchildren to actively study, work, and implement the Party's guidelines and policies, and the State's laws; continue to promote the revolutionary tradition of Thieu Hoa homeland and the spirit of Dien Bien soldiers in the past, contributing their intelligence and efforts to build Thanh Hoa to become more and more developed.
Members of the working delegation visited the family of martyr Le Van Thu, Thieu Toan commune.
At the same time, it is recommended that the Party Committees and authorities of Thieu Hoa district continue to care for and carry out well the work of gratitude with practical and specific actions; pay attention to the material and spiritual life of policy families, including families of martyrs, former Dien Bien soldiers, youth volunteers, and frontline laborers who directly served the Dien Bien Phu Campaign.
