Submit to the National Assembly for permission to implement the Land Law and three other laws early from August 1, 2024

Accordingly, the Government unanimously approved the Draft Law amending and supplementing a number of articles of the Land Law No. 31/2024/QH15, the Housing Law No. 27/2023/QH15, the Real Estate Business Law No. 29/2023/QH15, the Law on Credit Institutions No. 32/2024/QH15 at the request of the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment in Submission No. 60/TTr-BTNMT dated June 7, 2024 and the attached related documents, specifically:

Amending and supplementing Clause 1, Article 252 of the Land Law No. 31/2024/QH15 as follows: “1. This Law takes effect from August 1, 2024, except for the cases specified in Clauses 2 and 3 of this Article. Article 253; Article 254 (except Clauses 4 and 5); Article 255 (except Clause 8); Article 256 (except Clauses 2 and 4); Article 257 (except Clause 1); Article 258; Article 259; Article 260 (except Clauses 12, 14 and 15) of the Land Law takes effect from January 1, 2025”.

Amending and supplementing Clause 1, Article 197 of Housing Law No. 27/2023/QH15 as follows: “1. This Law takes effect from August 1, 2024”.

Amending and supplementing Clause 1, Article 82 of the Law on Real Estate Business No. 29/2023/QH15 as follows: “1. This Law takes effect from August 1, 2024”.

Amend and supplement Clause 2, Article 209 of the Law on Credit Institutions No. 32/2024/QH15 as follows: “2. Clause 3, Article 200 and Clause 15, Article 210 of this Law take effect from August 1, 2024”.

The Government assigned the Minister of Natural Resources and Environment, authorized by the Prime Minister, to sign on behalf of the Government the Government's Submission to the National Assembly the Draft Law amending and supplementing a number of articles of the Land Law No. 31/2024/QH15, the Housing Law No. 27/2023/QH15, the Real Estate Business Law No. 29/2023/QH15, the Law on Credit Institutions No. 32/2024/QH15 according to the process of drafting and promulgating according to the simplified procedures at a session of the National Assembly.
