Deploy renewable energy projects.

Attending the event were leaders of the departments of Finance, Agriculture and Environment, Industry and Trade, Construction, and representatives of businesses and corporations interested in investing in power projects in the province.

At the meeting, the Department of Industry and Trade reported on the progress of surveys and investment proposals for renewable energy projects; the implementation status of projects approved by the Provincial People's Committee for enterprises to research and survey; and at the same time, clearly stated the advantages, difficulties and obstacles in the implementation process.

Enterprises and corporations also reported on research progress, investment proposals, and plans submitted to competent authorities for appraisal and approval of investment policies; at the same time, they recommended that the Provincial People's Committee and relevant departments and branches promptly remove difficulties to speed up project progress.

The Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee spoke at the meeting.

In his concluding remarks, Mr. Nguyen Thanh Cong, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, emphasized that developing renewable energy is an important orientation, contributing to ensuring energy security, promoting green growth and sustainable development of the province. He requested departments and branches to urgently coordinate and create favorable conditions for enterprises in surveying, preparing documents and investment procedures; promptly providing guidance and removing difficulties and obstacles.

He noted the strict implementation of the Prime Minister 's and the Central Government's directives, in conjunction with the industry and trade development plan and the province's planning. The Department of Agriculture and Rural Development coordinates with the Department of Industry and Trade to review and update land use planning, ensuring compliance with the renewable energy development orientation.

The Provincial People's Committee agreed to request investors to synthesize and report in detail on progress, research content, and project proposals. Investors whose research proposals have been approved should promptly complete procedures and propose a clear implementation timeline for the province to monitor and urge implementation.

The implementation of renewable energy projects not only exploits the potential and advantages of Son La province but also opens up opportunities for sustainable and environmentally friendly socio -economic development in the coming period.
