Can Loc District (Ha Tinh) is not only a land rich in cultural sediments and beautiful landscapes, but also has many places associated with revolutionary movements. Each red address has become a place to educate tradition and foster national pride for today's generation.

Thuong Tru ferry - where the conference to establish the provincial Party Committee took place in March 1930, is located in the heart of the model rural residential area of ​​Doan Ket village (Thien Loc commune), about 1.5 km east of National Highway 1 through Nghen town. During the historic autumn days, this place is a red address that many generations come to pay their respects, to better understand history and to awaken in their hearts the aspirations and responsibilities to build the country.

Perhaps, this is also the time when the history pages of Can Loc homeland are turned the most and the red addresses are bustling with grateful footsteps. In March 1930, the deserted area with mangroves, dense reeds, and few people passing by at Thuong Tru Ferry was chosen as the place to hold the conference to establish the Provincial Party Committee. Vietnam was founded (February 3, 1930), the Central Region Party Committee sent comrade Tran Huu Thieu to Ha Tinh to contact and connect with Party organizations to hold a conference to establish the provincial Party Committee. From then on, under the leadership of the Party, the people of the whole province rose up to fight, creating the Nghe Tinh Soviet movement of 1930-1931.

Along with Thuong Tru Ferry, in Can Loc hometown there are also relics associated with the revolutionary movement in this historical period, such as: the foundation of the district office, the Nghe Tinh Soviet monument in Nghen town... From that first rehearsal, in August 1945, under the leadership of the Party, the people of Can Loc rose up together, together with the whole province and the whole country to make the great August Revolution, bringing the people from the status of slaves to the masters of the country. Can Loc was the locality that took power into the hands of the people the earliest in the whole province (on August 16, 1945). This is a milestone in the proud history of the Party Committee and the people of the district.

Through each historical period in the 78-year journey of the country gaining independence, Can Loc has always left its mark, with the names of people, places, and villages associated with glorious feats of arms, especially during the resistance war against the US. In the midst of today's revolutionary autumn, the story of the people of Ha Loi village voluntarily dismantling 130 houses within just a few hours on August 13, 1968 to pave the way for the convoy transporting gasoline, food, and ammunition to the southern battlefield has returned to the memories and thoughts of many people.

K130 Village relic site has become the pride of today's generation.

K130 Village is one of the heroic notes of the revolutionary song in the Soviet homeland. It is the continuation of history, the development of revolutionary heroism. Remembering the great sacrifice of the people here, Ha Loi Village was renamed K130 Village (now K130 residential group - Nghen town). In 2006, K130 Village was recognized as a National Historical and Cultural Relic.

After much anticipation and expectation, last July, Can Loc people in general and K130 residents in particular had their wish fulfilled when K130 Village Relic Site completed the renovation and restoration, becoming spacious and worthy. This is not only a place for cultural activities of the people but also a red address for future generations to return to, to better understand and be more proud of the revolutionary tradition of their ancestors.

Pham Nguyen Ly Bang - Deputy Secretary of the Youth Union of Residential Group K130 shared: "Reading back the glorious historical pages of the village, looking back at the documentary photos in the traditional house, we feel even more proud and tell ourselves that we will try to study and practice well to contribute to building our homeland to be more and more prosperous."

During the historic autumn days of the homeland and country, the Dong Loc T-junction relic site with its legendary stories also became a meeting place, a place to return to for millions of people across the country.

Dong Loc T-junction has become a symbol of the indomitable, brave and resilient spirit of the land and people of Ha Tinh.

“This year, the 55th anniversary of the Dong Loc Victory has brought a lot of visitors to the red address to pay their respects. And, during these historic days, on average, every day, the staff of the relic site management board also welcomes hundreds of visitors,” said Mr. Dao Anh Tuan - Deputy Head of the Dong Loc T-junction Relic Site Management Board.

Dong Loc T-junction has become a symbol of the indomitable, brave and resilient spirit of the land and people of Ha Tinh during the fierce years of war, in the fierce confrontation between the will and steel spirit of the traffic security forces on the vital route and the enemy's bombs and bullets.

Among the endless stream of people returning to Dong Loc today, there are veterans revisiting the old battlefield, old people with gray hair, women, mothers, young union members and many students wearing bright red scarves on their shoulders... All have the same wish to personally offer incense and white flowers to the memorial of the deceased, to hear again many stories about people in their late teens and twenties who sacrificed their blood and bones with the slogan: "Blood may flow, the heart may stop, but the traffic arteries will never be blocked".

On average, Dong Loc welcomes hundreds of visitors every day.

78 years have passed since the historic autumn of 1945, under the guidance and enlightenment of the Party, the consensus and determination of the Party Committee, the Government and the People, Can Loc has risen, broken through, and achieved many outstanding achievements in the socio-economic fields. In the vein of gratitude from the whole country, the province, the local government and the people, the red addresses have been restored, embellished and decorated to be spacious and worthy.

Visiting the red addresses in the historic autumn days, listening to the heroic and glorious stories of the names of the lands and people, today's generation feels more deeply the heroic sacrifice, patriotism and revolutionary will of our ancestors. That is invaluable luggage, creating motivation for the people in the revolutionary homeland of Can Loc to be more aware of their own responsibilities, actively contributing to building the district to develop more and more.
